There is Hope for Siller

Some good news is coming out of West Lafayette, Indiana, as Purdue reinstated QB Justin Siller after serving a one year suspension for academic violations. With the QB competition between Robert Marve and Caleb TerBush heating up, you can bet Siller will return to the team as either a wide receiver or running back.  Siller has two years of eligibility remaining and should be a good fit for Danny Hope’s offense.  (check out your latest NCAA football odds). There’s hope for Hope

Purdue’s Danny Hope was given a one-year contract extension that will keep him in West Lafayette through 2014. Hope was named Purdue’s head coach last summer when Joe Tiller decided to retire. The line should be -5.5.  Oregon is the real deal. After a terrible start against Boise State and a close game against Purdue, the Ducks have been beating down on their opponents while their defense stands strong. In the last five games,...

DE McKinley got served

Coach Tim Brewster just announced today the immediate suspension of two Gophers’ football players. Starting senior DE Cedric McKinley and sophomore back-up DB Tim Dandridge are both facing two game suspensions. The exact cause of the suspensions, you guessed it, violation of team rules. The suspension of McKinley serves as the biggest concern as he is a key impact defensive player who had a strong game in the Gophers 35-24 victory over Northwestern to open Big 10 play. Most notably, he sacked Kafka in...
