The mighty Ducks personnel cannot just accept the fact that Ohio State totally dominated the Ducks in the Rose Bowl. The Ducks’ offensive coordinator, Mark Helfrich, is suggesting that some of the team’s signals were compromised during “The Granddaddy of Them All.” Rather than taking the 26-17 defeat like a man, in true American fashion, Helfrich is blaming someone else for his offense’s poor performance (Masoli only completed 9 out of 20 passes for 81 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT)....

Oregon has dismissed WR Jamere Holland following a rant on his Facebook page. If this isn’t a sign of the times, then I don’t know what is. The rant began when Oregon linebacker Kristian Kiko Alonso was arrested early Saturday morning on driving under the influence of intoxicants charges. The 96th Rose Bowl is getting a little more interesting as both Oregon and Ohio State are dealing with shrinking rosters. The Oregon Ducks have just announced that back-up WR Jamere Holland is academically ineligible for post season play. During the season, he amassed 13 catches for 199 yards and 2 TDs.
