UGA’s Washaun Ealey Suspended

Georgia’s 2010 leading rusher, Washaun Ealey, has been indefinitely suspended from the team for disciplinary matters. Ealey’s punishment stems from skipping out on a punishment run last week. Georgia has not dismissed Ealey, however, the talented tailback is not permitted to use the team’s facilities or attend any team activities. Academics hamper Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs (6-6) arrived in Memphis yesterday in preparation for the Liberty Bowl against Central Florida. In fact, coach Mark Richt  will play King this Saturday against Tennessee if he gets a medical clearance. Both Richt and Meyer (Meyer wants Tebow to play against LSU) are anxious...

The chatter in Athens, GA this off-season was all about who was going to replace Knowshon Moreno at tailback. Many believed that Caleb King would be his heir apparent,  but sophomore Richard Samuel has other plans. Samuel has impressed the UGA coaching staff so much that they have named him the leader in the tailback race. Georgia coach Mark Richt said, “Richard is playing with a lot of energy, good stamina, and he goes hard,” Richt said Friday. “We hope...
