“Spent most of the morning on the phone with recruits,” Kelly wrote. “House got egged last night and the sign on the lawn wasn’t a FOR SALE sign.” This precious message was twitted to former Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly’s Twitter account earlier today. Apparently, some disgruntled Bearcat fans took their frustration over Kelly’s departure to Notre Dame out on his home with a few cartons of eggs. Stanford has reward Jim Harbaugh’s success with a 3 year contract extension. The new deal will keep him in Palo Alto through 2014.  Stanford alum and fans were unsure about his status over the past couple weeks as rumors swirled concerning Harbaugh possibly heading to Notre Dame. However, those fears were quelled last Thursday as Brian Kelly announced he was heading to South Bend. Regardless of your position on Notre Dame, this storied program still has a strong bite and will always have a national presence even coming off of sub-par performances this past decade. Early reports are already coming in that Brian Kelly will be the next head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Cincinnati coach has taken the Bearcats to uncharted territory and ND would expect nothing less out of Kelly.
