Harbaugh Gets Contract Extension

Stanford has reward Jim Harbaugh’s success with a 3 year contract extension. The new deal will keep him in Palo Alto through 2014.  Stanford alum and fans were unsure about his status over the past couple weeks as rumors swirled concerning Harbaugh possibly heading to Notre Dame. However, those fears were quelled last Thursday as Brian Kelly announced he was heading to South Bend.

Harbaugh has compiled a 17-19 record at Stanford and has guided them to 8 wins this season. The Cardinal will play Oklahoma on December 31st. in the Sun Bowl. Stanford and Harbaugh are a good fit and it looks like he is what they need to get the football program on the right track.
