The Pac-10 has invited the Utah Utes to become the newest member of the future Pac-12, and sources are reporting that Utah will happily accept.  Utah officals are holding a press conference tomorrow and Pac-10 officials will be in attendance. Earlier this year, we reported that the entire University of Waterloo football team was getting tested for steroid abuse after a player was arrested for possession and trafficking of steroids. Former Sooner Jameel Owens (#4) was cleared by the NCAA to play in 2010

On Monday, WR Jameel Owens got some good news from the NCAA. Owens, a former Oklahoma Sooner top-prospect, transferred to Tulsa to be closer to his sick mother. Per NCAA rules, players are required to sit out one year when transferring between D-1 schools. Owens petitioned the NCAA to waive the transfer rule citing family health reasons. FB Van Stuman arrested for DWI

FB Van Stumon (#44) was arrested over the weekend for a DWI and other charges

The Razorbacks got some bad news this past Saturday as FB Van Stumon was charged with a DWI after being pulled over for making an improper turn in Fayetteville. The young back failed his field sobriety test and blew a .10. He was arrested on the scene and booked into the Washington County jail but was subsequently released on a $1,200 bond. Florida wide receiver Frankie Hammond ran the WR jet streak a little too well early this morning in Gainesville, Fl. The 20 year old sophomore from Hollywood, Fl, was arrested at 2:09am and was apprehended and taken to the Alachua County jail.
