“The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You” were found scrawled on athletic tape attached to the carpet in Texas A&M’s Bright Football Complex Tuesday morning. The message found written on the tape is a lyric from A&M’s rival Texas’s fight song. The facilities were burglarized and some football equipment was reported stolen.
As of now, no suspects have been named but an investigation is still being conducted. The incident is sure to provide locker room fodder for the Aggies when the Longhorns roll into College Station on November 26th. Unfortunately, a whole lot more motivation is going to be needed if the Aggies are to stand a chance on the field against Texas this fall.
