It’s been almost 3 weeks since we last saw LB Sean Lee on the field when the Nittany Lions decimated the Temple Owls 31-6. With the win, Lee suffered a left knee injury. At first, it didn’t appear to be too serious, but now, it looks like Joe Paterno is going to keep out his star LB for another game-his third straight. Fortunately, the Nittany Lions are playing powerhouse (hahaha) Eastern Illinois, so pretty much every start won’t really need to play, but Lee’s continued absence should be of concern.
We know that Lee tore his ACL in his right knee causing him to miss the 2008 season, but now, the question remains, how serious is Sean Lee’s left knee injury and is his lingering left ankle problem still bothering him?
