Georgia v. Oklahoma State

Dr. Bob breaksdown Georgia at Oklahoma St. Saturday, Sep-05 3:30 PM (EST) Favorite: Oklahoma St. -4.5 Total: 61.5 Georgia entered last season as the nation’s #1 rated team, which was higher than my rating of the Bulldogs as the 8th best team in the nation prior to last season. Georgia actually ended last season as the 21st best team in the land thanks to a defense that had trouble defending good offensive teams. Quarterback Matthew Stafford, the NFL’s 1st...

Oregon at Boise State

Dr. Bob breaksdown Oregon at Boise St. Thursday, Sep-03 07:15 PM Favorite: Boise St. -3.5 Total: 64.0 Boise State was one point away from a perfect 13-0 season in 2008, losing their bowl game 16-17 to a very good TCU team. If the Broncos can open the season with a home win over Oregon then they’ll have a good chance at another unbeaten regular season even though they probably won’t be quite as good this season. Boise was great offensively...

Minor wont see Major Playing Time on Saturday

As fate would have it, Michigan’s Rich Rodriguez may have one more problem to deal with. Starting RB Brandon Minor is questionable for Saturday’s game against Western Michigan. It appears Minor is suffering from a nagging ankle injury. The team is limiting his practice duties and he will be re-evaluated before Saturday’s kick-off. If he doesn’t play or has limited playing time, this would hurt the Wolverines offense as Minor lead the Wolverines with 533 yards rushing last season and was poised to...

DE Geathers to Serve One Game Suspension

Early, The Matador reported that DE Clifton Geathers was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public drunkeness. At the time, Steve Spurrier suspended Geathers indefinitely; however, Spurrier eased up on his harsh reaction and will only suspend the star DE for one game. Since Geathers is still recovering from a facial broken bone from the incident with the bouncer, he is not medically cleared to play. Once he is cleared, he will serve his one game suspension.
