In a long-overdue move, Colorado Coach Dan Hawkins finally demoted his son and former starter Cody Hawkins to 2nd string. QB Tyler Hansen emerged from the younger Hawkins’ shadow and stole the starting job. As Thursday’s scrimmage was coming to a close, senior WR Scotty McKnight suffered an injury to his leg. The injury occurred when McKnight was making a sideline catch and was forced out of bounds. He apparently ran into one of the walls and railings that caused him to step awkwardly resulting in his injury....

It’s going to be awfully quite at the Hawkins house this Thanksgiving season.
