Forcier On Track To Play This Weekend

Michigan QB Tate Forcier’s status for Saturday’s game has been in question since sustaining a mild concussion against Iowa. Forcier has been undergoing tests in Ann Arbor with the hopes of being able to play this weekend. The freshman did not practice on Monday after complaining of headaches, but he did do some running during Tuesday’s practice. UM coach Rich Rodriguez said that Foricer will be able to play if he makes Wednesday’s practice. If Forcier’s not ready to go,...

The run game is getting weaker

The Michigan Wolverines are traveling to Iowa City for a huge game against the Iowa Hawkeyes Saturday night. Unfortunately, the Wolverines will be without their leading rusher as Carlos Brown is still recovering from a concussion suffered during Tuesday’s practice. It also did not help that his teammates incidentally were making it worse. Coach Rodriguez is limiting Forcier this week in...

The Matador’s Muse

What did we learn in Week 2. First, I’m a big fan of nepotism, but there is a point when a coach has to pull his son out of the game. It is clear that Cody Hawkins is not a good QB and the Toledo defense exposed his lack of talent all night long. Even when down several scores in the 4th quarter, his dad kept him in the game. As a result, he may have suffered a concussion...

The Matador’s Muse

As we kick-off the college football season this Saturday, The Matador wants to highlight what’s going on around the college football Nation. Keep an eye on Georgia’s QB Cox as he is suffering from flu like symptoms and traveled separately from the team, but is still probable to start. VaTech’s Beamer announced that redshirt freshman Ryan Williams will start at tailback when the No. 7 Hokies play No. 5 Alabama. Oregon RB Blount is out for the remainder of his...
