Jim Leavitt, $2.75 million dollars later

Yesterday, South Florida officials disappointingly dropped a $2.75 million dollar ball. If you don’t recall, former Bulls head coach Jim Leavitt was relieved of his duties back in January 2010, after allegations of player abuse. Coach Jim Leavitt stated that the team will not know the exact extent of the injury until Monday. Either way, this could be a significant hit to the offense, as Taylor was fighting for the starting spot. Last season...

This past weekend, South Florida kicker Maikon Bonani fractured his T12 vertebra and is listed in fair condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Bonani, who was working as a Skyride gondola attendant at the Tampa Busch Gardens, injured himself while checking to see if a gondola door was locked as it proceeded off of the station. He hung on to the door and eventually let go falling 35 feet above the ground. Bonani should be applauded for doing his job by making...
