RB Jamar Taylor (#33) suffers MCL injury in practice

South Florida lost junior RB Jamar Taylor to an MCL injury during preseason practice. The Bulls have not disclosed the severity of the injury; however, during Fan Fest, Taylor was on crutches and had his right knee wrapped on ice. Coach Jim Leavitt stated that the team will not know the exact extent of the injury until Monday.

Either way, this could be a significant hit to the offense, as Taylor was fighting for the starting spot. Last season he ran for 3 TDs and 300 yards off of sixty-two attempts. Leavitt and company hope this injury is not serious and that Taylor will be ready for opening kick-off.
