Rev. Jones’ fiery message causes concern for the Gators

For those who will be in attendance for Saturday’s Florida game, please be advised that there will be tight security in light of the Rev. Terry Jones planning to burn copies of the Koran at his Gainesville church. This is Rev. Jones’ idiotic way of memorializing the 9th anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks-he dubbed the international burn the Koran day. The Rev. Let the Litigation Begin

Disgraced University of South Florida coach Jim Leavitt is suing his former employer in an attempt to retrieve $7M from his now voided contract. Leavitt and his attorney, Will Florin, filed the 53 page lawsuit in the Hillsborough County Circuit Court last week under the grounds that he was wrongfully terminated by USF. The lawsuit contends that the school’s investigation was “biased, flawed, and legally unsupportable”. Leavitt was fired by USF in January after sources leaked that he physically assaulted one...

Running Of The Bull

South Florida RB Mike Ford has been dismissed from the team. The exact reason for his dismissal hasn’t been announced, but we do know that it was for an unspecified violation of team rules This loss comes as a big hit to the South Florida football program. Ford garnered International Bowl MVP honors and was expected to compete with Mo Plancher for the starting job next season. Ford’s career with the Bulls has been one that’s been tumultuous at best. He’s been arrested...
