USF's Ford Dismissed From Team
South Florida RB Mike Ford has been dismissed from the team. The exact reason for his dismissal hasn’t been announced, but we do know that it was for an unspecified violation of team rules
This loss comes as a big hit to the South Florida football program. Ford garnered International Bowl MVP honors and was expected to compete with Mo Plancher for the starting job next season.
Ford’s career with the Bulls has been one that’s been tumultuous at best. He’s been arrested two times and has faced several suspensions for his arrests and academic issues. It’s unfortunate for Ford that he could never seem to put everything together. He showed moments of greatness on the field and one can’t help but wonder what could have been had he kept his head on straight.
