Utah reportedly to join Pac-10 as conference's 12th member

The Pac-10 has invited the Utah Utes to become the newest member of the future Pac-12, and sources are reporting that Utah will happily accept.  Utah officals are holding a press conference tomorrow and Pac-10 officials will be in attendance. If you are a member of the Ute Nation this is undoubtedly great news. Texas Texas coach Mike Leach is making some changes in Lubbock. No, Texas Tech isn’t making coaching adjustment on the football field, but rather with his players’s twitter accounts. Leach has banned members of the Red Raider football team from twittering. The change in his policy comes after TT linebacker Marlon Williams twitted that he wondered why he was expected to be on time for a team meeting when his linebacker coach himself was running late. Red Raider starting running back, Baron Batch is expected to miss between 3-6 weeks with some type of arm injury, according to ESPN‘s Joe Schad. This comes as very bad news for the Red Raiders, who will start with a new quarterback under center this season. Batch was expected to take some of the pressure off of Taylor Potts, who replaces Graham Harrell. Batch led the Red Raiders in rushing last year with 758 yards and 7 TDs. The...
