Tom Bradley: from Nittany Lion to Pitt Panther

Word on the street is Pitt found its new head coach to replace the abruptly fired Mike Haywood with the hiring of Penn State staple and defensive coordinator Tom Bradley. Though neither Pitt nor Penn State confirmed the move, sources close to the team say it’s a done deal. Two Penn State players received text messages from Bradley that suggested he was offered the job and will ultimately take it once the contractual terms are ironed out. Bradley was...

U can’t touch this

From Miami’s opening TD drive to its aggressive defense, the Pittsburgh Panthers did not stand a chance of winning Thursday night’s game. Pittsburgh’s Jabaal Sheard took out whatever frustrations he had built up on Edward Parker this past weekend.  As Sheard and Parker were jawing at each other Saturday night on East Carson Street in front of LaFond Gallery, something set the two off and the brawl began. The DE and top pass rusher threw Parker into a storefront window and proceeded to beat the living crap out of him. When Parker fell to the ground defenseless, Sheard continued to throw the...

Pitt wins low scoring game

Greetings fellow gamblers. Last week’s lock failed me as Air Force failed to cover taking me to a terrible 1-2 for the year. It’s ok though because we have a lot of games left to make up for lost money. This week’s lock comes to you on a Friday. The Pittsburgh Panthers (3-1) are traveling to Kentucky to face off against Louisville (1-2) and are favored by 6. Now as you know, Dave Wannstedt is all about defense and Lousiville isn’t...
