The son of a legend returns to Notre Dame (again). Joe Montana convinced his son to return to the Irish as there is a great opportunity for Nate Montana to take some snaps under center. Nate Montana, the son of former Notre Dame and San Francisco great Joe Montana, has decided to leave Notre Dame for Pasadena City College. However, he intends to return to Notre Dame next spring and compete again for the quarterback job. Montana walked on to Notre Dame’s football team  but was not expected to get many reps at QB during practice this fall.
