Nate Montana, the son of former Notre Dame and San Francisco great Joe Montana, has decided to leave Notre Dame for Pasadena City College. However, he intends to return to Notre Dame next spring and compete again for the quarterback job. Montana walked on to Notre Dame’s football team but was not expected to get many reps at QB during practice this fall. Montana, a California native, plans to play for Pasadena City College where he hopes to gain more experience and further develop fundamentals that will help him compete when he returns to Notre Dame.
