Arizona and Nevada Headline the Gildan New Mexico Bowl

With 70 out of 124 teams filling the 35 bowl slots, the bowl season is set to kick-off this Saturday with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.  Though it is anticipated to be a sparse crowd, those who attend the game will undoubtedly see a high scoring affair. Arizona’s offense has looked anemic so far this season and they have struggled to find a consistent rhythm. Concerns about this has prompted ‘Zona head coach Mike Stoops to make a switch at quarterback. Matt Scott started the first three games of the season but struggled heavily last Saturday against the Iowa Hawkeyes in which he went 14-50 for 50 yards and an interception.
