Dylan Favre is transferring from Mississippi State. Head coach Dan Mullen confirmed the third-string quarterback’s intentions of transferring and stated there will be no restrictions on his transfer. “Dylan has decided to transfer, and we wish him the best,” Mullen said. “He has our full support in everything and did a great job for us during his time here.” The nephew of legendary NFL QB Brett Favre, saw very limited playing time in four games as he sat third...

Head Coach Dan Mullen just announced he is reinstating JUCO transfer DE Maurice Langston just in time for the road game against Vanderbilt. If you don’t recall, Langston was suspended for a February arrest for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana (one pound to be exact), with the intent to distribute. Mississippi State’s WR Brandon McRae’s (Sr. 6’4, 205 lbs.) 2008 season ended abruptly in the second quarter as he had to be carted off the field in the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss with a broken leg. The Bulldogs were crushed 0-45. He suffered a compound fracture of the tibia and had to have his leg immobilized.  McRae missed all of spring practice recovering from the injury. McRae says he is ready to go and is listed as a starter on the team’s depth chart. A frustrated WR asked to be released from his football athletic scholarship. Delmon Robinson (So. 5’11 181 lbs.) was projected to have a limited role in the Bulldogs’ offense this season. Mississippi State is loaded at the WR position and Robinson didn’t think he would have much opportunity for playing time. Robinson asked for his release which was granted.
