There are mixed reports about the reason for his resignation, but you really don’t have to look further than his record after 8 season, 29-66. For all you Vandy fans, the word is out. Starting QB Larry Smith suffered a season ending hamstring injury during last Saturday’s loss to Georgia Tech. At first, there was a slim chance that Smith could return, but after his MRI revealed an actual tear, it made clear Smith will not return anytime soon. What is going on over at Vandy? First, the team lost a heart breaking game to Army this past weekend. Yes, the mighty SEC lost to Army. Now Vandy is dealing with another loss.
