Myles isn’t all smiles

Tenn's Darren Myles Jr (#3) celebrated a little too much following UT's spring game and was arrested early Sunday morning

Tennessee might want to think about scrapping their football program and come back in a few years, you know, sort of like Enron. Since college football’s resident diva Lane Kiffin left Tennessee for the younger, sexier, USC, Tennessee and Derek Dooley have been in a tailspin that seems to dive deeper with every passing week.

Fresh off Tennessee’s annual Orange and White game Saturday, safety Darren Myles, Jr. celebrated a little too much and was picked up by Knoxville’s boys in blue early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a nightclub. Apparently Myles didn’t exert enough energy on the field during the spring game and still had a little extra steam to blow off. Myles, who turned in an impressive performance on the field earlier in the day was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Knoxville police spokesman Darrell DeBusk commented on the arrest: “Officers observed Myles being drunk and disorderly and riding on the hood of a vehicle in the parking lot.”

Tennessee hasn’t issued any statements on the incident concerning Myles’ recent legal woes. If history is any indicator on what type of action will be taken against Myles, we can expect a few sets of stadiums to suffice as punishment for his incident.
