How Long Will Saban Stay At 'Bama?

Now that Nick Saban has won his 2nd. NCAA football championship, let the guessing begin as to how long he stays in Tuscaloosa. College football’s resident gypsy and his Crimson Tide won the 2010 BCS National Championship game tonight beating Texas 37-21. Saban’s not known to be one to lay down his roots anywhere for too long. After bringing ‘Bama back to national prominence, will Saban get the itch and decide to bolt from Tuscaloosa?

Mal Moore, the Alabama athletic director will be opening up the checkbook before the team plane lands tonight with the hopes of locking Saban down to a long term deal. If any fan base can afford to make a coach the highest paid in the nation, it’s Alabama. Saban is a good coach, a very good coach. However, the decision is ultimately his to make. Time will only tell. Congrats to Alabama for claiming the 2010 national championship. They return virtually everyone on offense and will probably start next season at #1 in the pre-season polls. The Tide will be back in the mix again next year.
