Ndamukong Suh is the first defensive player to win AP Player of the Year Honors. The beast of a defensive end from Nebraska edged out Stanford’s Toby Gerhart for the award. Suh has been a dominant force throughout the year and he put on a Heisman worthy performance in the Big XII championship game against Texas. Suh led the ‘Huskers with 12 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks and was invited to New York as a Heisman finalist as a reward for his production.
Suh definitely is a deserving winner of the award. He is a force to reckon with on the field, and he is a class act off of it. He is projected to be a top 5 draft pick and NFL teams are salivating at the chance of possibly getting him. BMiles has been watching football for quite some time now, believe me when I say that he’s the best defensive lineman that I’ve seen in the past 20 years. The man has some skills and will be rewarded handsomely for his services in the pros.
