Would you punch this guy?
At this point, details are still sketchy but word is coming out of South Bend that our golden boy Jimmy Clausen was in an altercation outside C.J.’s Pub late Saturday night after the double overtime loss to UConn.
Sources are saying that the heralded QB took a punch to the face which left a black eye. The school has yet to reveal any other details of the incident, but The Matador will be following through and providing updates.
It’s sad to see the disgruntled fans taking shots at the team’s leader and QB. Let’s all hope he is ok and ready to play in the Irish’s regular season finale against Stanford.
In other news, Clausen’s chances of sticking around Notre Dame for his senior year have just dissipated.
