RB Shaun Draughn (#20) fractured his left shoulder during the Tar Heels' 19-6 victory over Duke

North Carolina’s depth chart at RB shrunk this past Saturday. During the Tar Heels’ 19-6 victory over Duke, starting RB Shaun Draughn fractured his left shoulder blade on the first play of scrimmage and will be out for the remainder of the 2009 season.

The junior was 7th in rushing in the ACC averaging 63.0 yard/game. He was the team leader in rushing amassing 567 yards on 124 carries in nine games.

In his place, RB Ryan Houston will step-in as the starter leading all backs. This season, he has totaled 451 yards and 7 TDs. Houston also has solid hands grabbing 21 passes for 125 yards.
