It's easy for RB Michael Shaw to score a TD when playing Delaware State

I’m not sure what’s worse—demoralizing a 1AA opponent by gaining 727 total yards of offense or letting a team demoralize you for $550,000.

Earlier today, the Michigan Wolverines poured on the beating against Div 1AA Delaware State. Within what seemed like minutes, Michigan was up by three scores. By the end of the game, the final score read 63-6. Michigan broke a school record with 442 total yards of offense in the first half. The 727 total yards from the game was also a school record.

To add insult to injury, Michigan’s offensive surge was accomplished without the services of Tate Forcier as Forcier only played in one series. Back-up Denard Robinson saw most of the action. However, as the score was getting out of hand, Rodriguez put in fourth string-yes, I said fourth string-quarterback David Cone. Another game breaker was freshman back Vincent Smith. He amassed 166 rushing yards on 17 carriers.

I get you want to schedule cup-cakes to pad the schedule, but to schedule and destroy Delaware State is just ridiculous. For that, I turn my back to you Rodriguez. As for Delaware State, to forfeit a conference game to get an LAPD beat down in the name of $550,000, well I’m just ashamed of the program.
