The Big House tightens security
In response to increased terror alerts on the eve of the G20 summit, The Big House is beefing up its security for this Saturday’s Big 10 opener against Indiana. From a fans perspective, an immediate notice will be that no purses or other bags will be permitted into the stadium unless you fall into one of the exemptions such as medical reasons.
There will also be more police presence throughout the campus and the stadium. Though no specific threats have been made or targeted towards Michigan, there is concern so every precaution is being made. Please enjoy the game and if you notice anything suspicious, notify the proper authority immediately.
