Okafor is no longer a Husker
First, Quentin Castille was dismissed for violating team rules, now, Nebraska RB Collins Okafor has decided to part ways from the program. On Wednesday, coach Bo Pelini informed the media that Okafor left the team on his own accord.
It is presumed, that Okafor left because he was deep in the depth chart behind junior fan favorite Roy Helu an frosh sensation Rex Burkhead.
Okafor did not speak of his intentions, but for Pelini, this is his second back to depart the team. The question remains, why the loss of two RBs so early in the season?
