Gilbert who?

Garrett Gilbert almost became a household name as he nearly pulled off a Texas rally in the Citi BCS National Championship game last night. When All-American QB Colt McCoy went down in the first series of the game over 90,000 fans saw Mack Brown call #3’s number. Corp to Richmond?

Though USC is mum on the word, Aaron Corp was spotted this weekend in Richmond visiting the Spiders’ football facilities.  Rumor has it that Corp already got his scholarship release from USC and is now finishing up his transfer documents with the hopes of enrolling and starting spring semester classes as early as this Monday. FSU’s Appeal is Denied

Bobby Bowden’s New Year’s gift from the NCAA–a rejection letter. Rumors are speculating that the NCAA has rejected Florida State’s appeal in lieu of the school’s academic cheating scandal. The exact number will be determined and enforced after a complete examination of every game in which ineligible players played. This news would be more meaningful if Florida State didn’t push Bowden to retirement....
