Minnesota Golden Gopher goes nuts on a Saturday night. LB Gary Tinsley  apparently decided to work on his “swing a wooden board routine” during a huge drunken brawl involving at least 15 -20 people. As a result, he was arrested Sunday morning by university police. The Startribune.com states Tinsley was cited for underage drinking and fleeing from police on foot after the huge fight in Dinkytown. Coach Tim Brewster just announced today the immediate suspension of two Gophers’ football players. Starting senior DE Cedric McKinley and sophomore back-up DB Tim Dandridge are both facing two game suspensions. The exact cause of the suspensions, you guessed it, violation of team rules. The suspension of McKinley serves as the biggest concern as he is a key impact defensive player who had a strong game in the Gophers 35-24 victory over Northwestern to open Big 10 play.
