Minnesota Golden Gopher goes nuts on a Saturday night. LB Gary Tinsley apparently decided to work on his “swing a wooden board routine” during a huge drunken brawl involving at least 15 -20 people. As a result, he was arrested Sunday morning by university police. The Startribune.com states Tinsley was cited for underage drinking and fleeing from police on foot after the huge fight in Dinkytown.
The school did not issue a statement as to any disciplinary actions for Tinsley. But let’s hope the team can take this type of intensity and rage on the field this weekend as the Gophers try to bounce back against Wisconsin on October 3rd.
