UVA wasted no time in traveling to Westhampton Way to knock on the door of Richmond’s Mike London regarding the Cavaliers’ head coaching vacancy. UVA pressed hard and came strong by immediately offering the coaching job to London to replace the departed Al  Groh–and word on the street is, he is going to take it. There is a rumor swirling around Charlottesville that coach Al Groh may be packing his bags sooner than expected. After last weeks crushing blow courtesy of William & Mary (26-14), UVA was hoping for a good show against visiting TCU.
