Utah reportedly to join Pac-10 as conference's 12th member

The Pac-10 has invited the Utah Utes to become the newest member of the future Pac-12, and sources are reporting that Utah will happily accept.  Utah officals are holding a press conference tomorrow and Pac-10 officials will be in attendance. If you are a member of the Ute Nation this is undoubtedly great news. The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) meetings are taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, this week. Mark Ingram Sr., father of Alabama Heisman winner running back Mark Ingram, was sentenced to an additional 2 years in the federal prison system earlier today. Utah commit, Tyler Shreve, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery on a school official following an altercation with his high school baseball coach last week. On February 24th, Shreve was informed by Redlands East Valley High School head coach James Cordes that he was being dismissed from the team.  Shreve, unhappy with the news, wrestled Cordes to the ground before being pulled off of the coach by his father.
