Former head coach Ralph Friedgen was terminated last year despite being named ACC Coach of the Year and producing gunslinger Danny O’Brien, the ACC Rookie of a year. The former Terrapin is finally speaking out on the topic of Maryland and needless to say, it’s not pleasant. Friedgen appeared on Baltimore’s WNST with host Glenn Clark early this week. Former head coach Michael Haywood sues Pitt for $3.75 million

For Pitt fans, coach Michael Haywood was a short lived memory as he was fired by Pitt Executive Vice Chancellor Jerome Cochran 17 days into his supposed five-year tenure.  Haywood returns to Pittsburgh with a complaint in-hand suing the University if Pittsburgh for $3.75 million dollars for breach of contract.
