WR Sterling Griffin breaks ankle

Skip Holtz and QB B.J. Daniels’ quest to lead the Bulls back to BCS prominence is becoming more of an impossibility as injuries continue to plague the team. The latest victim is sophomore WR Sterling Griffin who fractured and dislocated his right ankle during voluntary workouts on Monday. USF and Skip Holtz were just about lined up to offer star high school kicker Marvin Kloss a grey shirt for the 2010 season with the opportunity to be placed on scholarship for the 2011 season. Hearing of this news, Kloss decided to celebrate as any normal high school teenager would by reveling at the neighborhood house party.
