According to former Florida defensive back Wondy Pierre-Louis, the Gainesville Green was around in abundance for the 2006 Florida Gator football team. Pierre-Louis estimates about 75 percent of the 2006 team smoked marijuana based on internal talks among players and teammates posting positive tests. Pierre-Louis refused to estimate the current percentage since he says head coach Urban Meyer has significantly reduced the drug use on the team. During the off-season, the Redskin’s GM, Bruce Allen, stated that he wanted to pursue a field of QBs. He first added Rex Grossman prior to the NFL draft and now he signed undrafted QB Daryll Clark. Oklahoma’s star TE Jermaine Gresham had the opportunity to be a first round draft pick during the 2009 NFL draft but just as Sam Bradford, he opted to pass on the draft and play his senior season with the Sooners. In an all to common story, Gresham was injured before his season really began and underwent season ending right knee surgery to repair torn cartilage.
