New Mexico continues to knock itself out of contention. First, Mike Locksley is serving a one game suspension for punching assistant coach George Barlow. Second, New Mexico’s AD punches the team by throwing a two game suspension to freshman wide receiver Ty Kirk for violation of team rules. It’s official, Texas Tech’s Taylor Potts will not dress for this Saturday’s game against Kansas State. Potts is still recovering from a concussion he sustained during the first half of last week’s New Mexico game. Potts never made it back and missed the entire second half.
