Bembry gets the pink slip

Marshall defensive back DeQuan Bembry has been dismissed from the football team following his fourth arrest since March of last year. His most recent run in with the law occurred this past Sunday when police arrested and charged him with DUI. Bembry along with T.J. Drakeford was also arrested on April 5th after an altercation at a Huntington, WV bar. Bembry was charged with assault on a police officer and underage consumption. He was serving a suspension for the April incident....

The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl confirmed where it ranks as one of the lowest tiered bowl games possible. The organizers have come to an agreement with the Big 10 and Mid-American conference (MAC) for the next four bowl seasons. For the first time in college football bowl history, a woman officiated a major college football bowl game. Sarah Thomas was wearing the zebra stripes officiating as a line judge during the Little Caesars Bowl this past Saturday. As Marshall was battling it out against Ohio, Thomas was blolwing her whistle when she saw fit.
