A gem of a defensive back has been dismissed from the University of Tennessee.  DB Janzen Jackson is no longer a Tennessee Volunteer according to head coach Derek Dooley.  Coach Dooley announced the star’s dismissal earlier today, but did not elaborate on details and only sited “personal challenges” that “preclude him from the privilege of playing for the University of Tennessee football team.” Jackson, who earned All-SEC Second Team honors in 2010, was expected to be a force in...

Our legal montra is pretty simple: innocent until proven guilty. I guess this did not apply to the Vols’ Nu’Keese Richardson and Mike Edwards who were both permanently dismissed from the team for their attempted armed robbery charges. Lane Kiffin will need to keep his mouth shut from this point on after three of his freshman players were arrested for attempted armed robbery this morning. The three players who found themselves handcuffed were top recruit wide receiver Nu’Keese Richardson, starting safety Janzen Jackson and defensive back Mike Edwards.
