Troubled QB Jeremiah Masoli is still waiting for the green light from the NCAA to suit up as opening day nears. Masoli has yet to be cleared for game action by the NCAA but he is still allowed to practice while his request is pending. Perrilloux Suspended for One Game

Former LSU and starting Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended for the home opener against Georgia Tech. The team issued a statement saying Perrilloux was suspended for violating team rules (as if we haven’t heard that before). Though the exact infraction remains a mystery, we do know that Perrilloux had prior problems at LSU for skipping classes, failed drug tests, missing meetings, and arriving late to workouts.
