Yale QB Patrick Witt is presented with an interesting dilemma regarding athletics vs. academics. On Nov. 19th, the Yale Bulldogs are set to play The Game against rival Harvard. Unfortunately, Yale’s top QB may not be able to suit up, at least in football gear. Witt was just selected as a Rhodes Scholarship finalist. Today, Edward “Ted” Kennedy is being memorialized at Harvard by flying the U.S. flag at half-staff to recognize this legendary lawmaker. The football team is also grieving in its own way by draping his #88 jersey in his old college football locker.  Coach Tim Murphy also observed a moment of silence after this morning’s practice to honor Kennedy’s greatness and service to the country.
