In a college football world where we expect loyalty and commitment to teams from our student athletes, college football coaches are able to pick up and leave on a whim without any penalty. “Spent most of the morning on the phone with recruits,” Kelly wrote. “House got egged last night and the sign on the lawn wasn’t a FOR SALE sign.” This precious message was twitted to former Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly’s Twitter account earlier today. Apparently, some disgruntled Bearcat fans took their frustration over Kelly’s departure to Notre Dame out on his home with a few cartons of eggs. Kelly to replace Weis?

Early reports are already coming in that Brian Kelly will be the next head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Cincinnati coach has taken the Bearcats to uncharted territory and ND would expect nothing less out of Kelly. Recently on a Cincinnati radio show Kelly denied the speculation and dismissed any rumors or talk of ND. But why would he say anything at this point?
