With 70 out of 124 teams filling the 35 bowl slots, the bowl season is set to kick-off this Saturday with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.  Though it is anticipated to be a sparse crowd, those who attend the game will undoubtedly see a high scoring affair. It’s getting a little warm in Tucson, Arizona, and I’m not talking about the weather.  Coach Mike Stoops got steamrolled last night at the hands of #9 Oklahoma State and Heisman hopeful Justin Blackmon, 37-14. Earlier this week we reported that standout wide receiver Delashaun Dean was indefinitely suspended from the Arizona Wildcats for brandishing a firearm at the local IHOP. With his criminal charges looming (Dean has court on Tuesday), he thought it best to trade his Wildcats jersey for a Javelinas.
