Though the exact illness has not been determined, Alabama players are showing signs of H1N1 symptoms. The Tide are reporting that at least 10 players have been hit with this flu-like symptom. The NCAA is at it again. The almighty organization is investigating whether or not a chartered fishing trip made by ‘Bama  football players, Julio Jones and RB Mark Ingram, was in violation since it was paid for by  Athens, GA business owner, Curtis Anderson. What makes the situation interesting though is the fact that  Anderson, who accompanied Jones and Ingram, suffers from degenerative disk disorder. Upshaw arrested for Harassment

The Crimson Tide’s Courtney Upshaw was known for harassing players on the field. He is a beast of a linebacker and knows how to tackle and is fighting for one of the coveted starting positions. Unfortunately, this quest is coming to a halt as The University of Alabama Police Department arrested Upshaw this morning for harassment and for domestic violence. He is being held on a $500 bond. First year Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin is in the news again for justifying negative off-season remarks he’s made about fellow conference coaches since being hired. Kiffin is a former Southern California offensive coordinator and Oakland Raiders head coach. He was hired by Tennessee after going just 5-15 with the Raiders.
