Missing: Chris Rainey's 2008 National Championship Ring
Two Gators, Chris Rainey (who is finally on the other side of the law) and Moses Jenkins, were victims of burglary this past weekend when their home was robbed early Sunday morning in the 3300 block of Southwest 42nd Street. Both players lost significant possessions of value to include Rainey’s 2008 National Championship ring, 10 pairs of Jenkins’ shoes, a Gucci duffel bag, a tv, and a PlayStation.
Though details are still sketchy, the break-in was reported by a player’s friend who discovered the back door of their residence kicked in around 11 a.m. Sunday morning. There are no specific leads yet, but police are still investigation.
