Wealthy Michigan Alum's twin engine Lear jet lands in Baton Rouge.

Last time I checked the University of Michigan did not officially own or lease any twin engine Lear jets such as the one pictured above. However, this bad boy is owned by mega-booster and former president of the Michigan Alumni Association, Rich Rogel, who hails from Colorado, but happened to land his plane in the Baton Rouge Metro Airport twice in three days. Perhaps Rogel is leading the charge, or at least picking up the tab, to woo Les Miles.

Though it’s believed that Miles will return to LSU next season, rumors are swirling that Michigan is still actively courting coach Miles. Rogel’s plane is only fueling the possibility of coach Miles answering the call to Michigan fans. For the sake of the maize and blue, let’s all hope that Mr. Rogel also flew in a blank check payable to The Mad Hatter.
