Redskin tight ends coach Jon Embree (center) will take the helm at Colorado after today's Redskins' game

After the Washington Redskins and New York Giants wrap up their division rivalry game, Redskins’ tight ends coach Jon Embree will pack up his bags, turn in his keys, and assume the head coaching job at the University of Colorado. Embree, who verbally agreed to the job, and the university are finalizing his contract and it’s expected he will sign on the dotted line this evening.

Embree has longed for a head coaching position and what better than his alma mater. The former Colorado tight end will replace Dan Hawkins who was recently fired after boasting an abysmal 19-39 record in 4 plus seasons.

Colorado fans should be excited with the addition of Embree as he has the fire and passion to take Colorado back to its glory days.
