Wynn, lose for Utah

Jordan Wynn (#3) sidelined for post-season play.

The Utah Utes wrapped up their regular season with a 10-2 record earning them a trip to the MAACO Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada against Boise State. Unfortunately, the quarterback who led the Utes to a 10 win season will not see post season action. Jordan Wynn was diagnosed with a serious shoulder injury in his right throwing shoulder. Wynn is scheduled for surgery in the coming days and will undergo at least 6 months of rehab.

Senior QB and fan favorite Terrance Cain will assume the starting job with redshirt freshman Griff Robles playing back-up. Cain, who is sporadic at best, has a 9-1 record as a starter, and is the fastest QB in Utah who will have the opportunity to showcase his speed against a stingy Broncos’ defense.
